Old Man Thunder--"If All Else Fails, Talk About The Weather"

Hey! A pre-VALIS recording from Adrian Makins. Im not sure if Old Man Thunder released any other material other than this cassette. The liner notes say that it was recorded in December of 1989 in Ellensburg, Washington. Found this cassette on ebay back in the day and listen to it every now and then. Old Man Thunder was comprised of Sam Williams on Guitar/Vocals, Bryant Grace on Drums and Adrian Makins on Bass. Give it a try and see what ya think...Link

I know basically nothing about Saliva Tree other than that they were from Portland. As far as I can tell they only had two releases: This single and an appearance on the "14 Songs For Greg Sage And The Wipers" compilation where they covered (you guessed it) "Soul's Tongue"...Link
