Down With People--"Suspended Animation/Melancholia" 7'

Been a while..Been a LONG while actually.

Well, no excuses on my part, just been lazy. Anyway, to break this streak of no uploads Im gonna post this single by Down With People. For those who are unfamiliar with that name this band includes Ron Rudzitis of Love Battery fame on lead vox. Im pretty sure there are members of his pre-Love Battery band, Room Nine, in this band as well. Bleh..im doing this off the top of my  head so if you're interested to learn more go check out their myspace page. Anyway, if you like Love Battery you'll enjoy this.

Mission 5--"Search For A Perfect Life"

Second album from Mission 5...maybe not as good as their first, but it still packs a pretty mean punch. Link

Mission 5--"The Other Side"

Whats that you say? Enough Gravelpit posts?? Fine, how about I post some Mission 5 stuff instead? There's one little catch though...sometime between 1999 and 2003 Gravelpit actually morphed into Mission 5. "The Other Side" is Mission 5's very first release. I really don't know what to say about this album besides the fact that it is probably my favorite album released in the last 15 years.. no lie. Please, I beg you, if you havent bothered to listen to any of the Gravelpit stuff, give this a chance. Download, crank it up to 10 and  enjoy. Please...Link

Gravelpit--"Snow Globe"

Did I mention I love this band? Snow Globe was Gravelpit's last album released in 1999. Link

Gravelpit--"History: Mission & Tradition"

I love this band. I posted Gravelpit's first album a while back. This is their second album, released in 1997. I have to admit, I dont feel it is as good as their first, but it still gets some decent play time while I'm on the road. Link

Capping Day--"Post No Bills"

My favorite female-led band of the whole Seattle/grunge thing. Though I suppose they were never really considered grunge to begin with. Whatever, just give it a listen and enjoy..Link

Eugenius--"Womb Boy Returns"

Eugenius..need I say more?? Link

T.H.U.M.B--"Lunar Flight"

So Ive seen this posted on a few other blogs and, unfortunately, each and every download Ive ever tried of it theres some glitches in a couple of the songs. Being the perfectionist that I am, that just wouldnt fly..so I contacted the bassist of T.H.U.M.B., Bokal, and he sent me over a copy from Italy asap! Super nice guy btw.

Anyway, if you love stoner rock with a little space rock to boot, then you will enjoy this. Link
